Enteral Safety System

NeoDevices® proudly presents our comprehensive Enteral Safety System. Our Enteral system includes oral syringe converters, oral extension sets and feeding tubes that are designed to be incompatible with IV or Luer Locking devices. Additionally, NeoDevices’ Enteral Safety System (ESS) product line complies with JCAHO’s “Proposed 2006 National Patient Safety Goals and Requirements” and the Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation’s (AAMI) “American National Standard for Enteral Feeding Set Adapters and Connectors” ©2000. By utilizing ESS the risk of an unintended clinical line connection is ELIMINATED. NeoDevices Enteral Safety System (EES) provides accurate dosing and does NOT require any special tools for cleaning, reducing the spread of bacteria.

At the cornerstone of the Enteral Safety System (ESS) are our syringe converter (EL-100) which attaches to any luer locking syringe to facilitate pump feedings and deliver nutrition through our “enteral only” extension sets down to our “enteral only” feeding tubes.
